I am a filmmaker interested in themes of self-archival, intimacy and memory. I’m drawn to stories that are funny, awkward, romantic, complicated to tell or difficult to watch. I explore the (inner) worlds of my subjects; their curiosities, desires, vulnerabilities, contradictions and perversions. Rather than observing these worlds from a distance, I like to enter them and create situations in which something unexpected can reveal itself. The camera, my own presence and the filmmaking process can all become part of that situation.
Based in Rotterdam, I graduated with honors from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Audiovisual Design in 2023. Winner WDKA Drempelprijs 2023
I am open to all sorts of projects; fiction, documentary, artistic or commercial.
